There is an extra single in the low roof part of the loft that I don't even count. All of the kitchen amenities needed to cook meals (no stove) but a toaster counter top oven, microwave, electric burner and refrigerator. If you prefer you can even cook on a nice Fire-pit out in front. Propane BBQ grill as well. We have been enjoying The Lake House on Lake Limestone since we built it in 2004. We moved here full time when my husband retired in 2014. We love the house so much; we have decided to share it with you. We do still live on the property and the dock is shared with the owners. The Lake House is 1800 sq. ft. with four bedrooms that sleep a total of 12 people. It has two baths, a kitchen and a living area. Lake Limestone is centrally located with easy access to Houston, Dallas, and Austin. All are about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away. The lake is famous for its fishing, hosting many fishing tournaments a year. The house is perfect for family reunions, weekend getaways, or getting together with friends. With nine beds, there is plenty of room for everyone. Although the inside is nice and roomy, you will find yourself spending most of your time outside on the large porch, in the beautiful lawn, or out on the boat dock. The water is just a few yards in front of the house with a gradual slope for going swimming. Enjoy the private dock (sometimes shared with owners) where you can jump off the diving board, fish, sunbath or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The Lake House is located on a quiet cove where you are welcome to bring your boat or Jet Ski, with plenty of room to moor on the dock or pull up on shore. We do have neighbors on both sides, but none are permanent residents. The dock also has a sink to clean the fish you catch which may include catfish, bass, crappie and several others. There is also plenty of waterfowl to watch and lots of wildlife around, to include deer, hogs, squirrels, raccoons, armadillos, etc. This is in the country so please expect to see some critters and bugs. We do have a fire pit where you can roast marshmallows or just sit by the fire. A total must while you are here is the beautiful sunset every evening! While the inside is spectacular, we prefer spending the majority of our time on the large tree shaded outside deck overlooking the lake. Sunsets are majestic from this location and at night, the patio lights throughout the property add a mystical ambiance to the evening. If you prefer sitting by a fire, we've got a large fire pit and a steady woodpile waiting to host the day's fishing tales, ghost stories, or even our favorite, popcorn and s'mores! B2 Ranch is a 1600 + acre working cattle ranch in Freestone County TX that consists of pastures, rangeland, woods and wetlands. It is located about 1.5 hours south of Dallas and 2 hours north of Houston. As a guest at B2 ranch you will have the opportunity to explore, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, fish, observe wildlife, or just relax. Also, the lake cabin is the only guest accommodation on the ranch, making it a true get away. B2 Ranch lake cabin is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin overlooking a 3 acre spring fed lake. The newly furnished cabin includes a king size bed, a pullout sofa, refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, tv with dvd player (no cable or satellite), and coffee maker with coffee. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner are also included. A fire pit with cooking grill is located just outside the cabin as well as a charcoal grill. It does not include a stove or oven. As part of your stay at B2 Ranch, you have access to 2 kayaks, a canoe and flat bottom boat along with paddles and life jackets. The lakes on the ranch are stocked with bass and open for fishing.
